Awning Soft Washing

Soft Washing Awnings

When you require awning cleaning services for your storefront, Clean Coastal Living is available to provide them during non-business hours. We operate our cleaning duties during the timeframes when you are less engaged with customers.

Safe Awning Cleaning

Our gentle cleaning process is a common beneficial technique to protect and preserve awnings for years. UV rays and environmental elements can fade and destroy awnings without proper cleaning.

Awning Specific Cleaning

Clean Coastal Living safely removes harmful bird droppings, airborne dirt, pollen, mold, mildew, and other contaminants from your office awning. Depending on the awning’s design, cleaning can be done with the fabric in-place or removed. Regardless of the inner liner, the awning’s interior must also be cleaned.

Awning cleaning typically involves a low-pressure cleaning system, soft bristle brushes, an A-frame ladder, and mild soap detergent to scrub the fabric. Soft washing reduces the risk of damage to the awning. Purified water and eco-friendly detergents are used during restoration.

How is Awning Cleaning Done?

Clean awnings every 30 to 60 days to prevent dirt and grime from embedding in the fabric, requiring more aggressive cleaning. Thorough cleaning should be done every 12 to 24 months.

How Often Should Awning Cleaning be Done?

Awning Sealing and Waterproofing

Clean Coastal Living’s awning sealing will waterproof and preserves the fabric or vinyl material.

  1. Utilize proper protective clothing, respiratory mask, and eye protection. Read labels for additional cautions and directions. Always have Solution specific MSDS on hand in case of emergency/ accidental occurrences.

  2. This method provides great results for cleaning technicians and owners with a quick affective application process.

  3. Use of a hand pump sprayer provides complete control to the providing technicians, spraying a light coat of the sealer, at a rapid motion pace across the material evenly. The hand sprayer must be fully pumped, a important step during the application process for a fine even mist.

  4. Our experienced technicians are equipped with pinned rollers Incase runs form to smooth out the sealer.

  5. This application process may require a second coat to ensure total coverage and protection. Generally two thin coats are better than one heavy coat.

  6. All excess of sealer needs to be attended to by wiping the heavy saturated area to eliminate runs.
